I have put together a couple of messages I received from one of our handlers pertaining to K9 needs that I’m sure many of us have no handlers pertaining to K9 needs that I’m sure many of us have no even thought about

Just thought I’d remind you guys not to forget about our 4 legged soldiers as well, I’m a K-9 handler deployed to Kyrgyzstan right now and I have several friends deployed throughout Afghanistan and Iraq with their faithful companions keeping soldiers out of harms way. A ot of the gear we get issued isn’t made for combat situations, stuff breaks and there’s not a lot of supply for dog teams

Large Retractable leashes, booties for the dog’s feet, ice packs to cool the dogs down in hot weather are all things hard to come by when you’re constantly on the move. Also dog treats, toys, blankets and such are also nice to get from time to time Here’s my address
