These ranks increase with a certain number of postings.
The ranks are actually and appropriately in order of military ranks from Private to the Commanding General.
So...
don't be offended if you're in the military and your actual ranking is higher. At least we won't make you do those awful push ups daily. And with each posting, you're quickly on your way up the ranks (yet again)!
